Lovely place to stay, but ask for room away from the front desk/hallway.
I only spent a night there, neighborhood is great, lots of shopping and great food options. and a grocery store. Its an upscale neighborhood. It is right next door to Sofitel Hotel.
The walls are thin as in any hotel, but around 10PM the staff we having super loud conversation and lots of laughter. Which is not a problem but I had an early flight to catch and having a hard time sleeping.

In general I am very happy with hotel and will definitely choose it in case I come to Montevideo bex
Staff is very helpful. Beach is fantastic and right near hotel . Breakfast is good . You can enjoy sunrise from your bed if you take superior room . Location - in the most luxury district .
No dinners . No balcony -just narrow terrace , one for all rooms. Very small breakfast area. Far from downtown ( taxi one side is about 17 Usd, but it has also positive side - clean sea, fresh air ).

Good location, good value.
This was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our 10-day visit to Uruguay and a good value. The room and bed were quite comfortable and the breakfast was the best we had. The staff were very helpful in giving directions and the like.
The only negative I can think of was that the eggs and bacon at breakfast were underdone. Since this was the first place where those were even offered, it is not a major gripe.

Good breakfast buffet.
Good breakfast buffet. Nice rooms. Small cozy hotel at the beach front.
Noisy in the rooms which are close to the elevator. And sometimes the vacuum cleaner goes on in the hall during the night. We were checked in to the Standard room instead of Superior one that we booked. No one told us in prior and the staff refused to change the room till the next day as they were fully booked or something. The hotel didn’t make any refund for this change neither.
